2 fires under investigation

Lexington – County FF’s responded to 2 mobile home fires; one in the Dixiana and the other in Boiling Springs.

The first blaze on Sheraton Lane in the Dixiana community was a well involved vacant mobile home. There was no power to the residence and the fire is considered suspicious.

The second was on Platt Springs Road in the Boiling Springs Community. The mobile home was heavily involved on arrival of FF’s. The home owner attempted to put the fire out however was unable to do so because of the rapidly advancing flames. The fire started in the garage and quickly spread into the living area.

There were no injuries reported in either blaze and both are under investigation.
