No one hurt in Oconee fires

Seneca — Fires in the Seneca area of Oconee County in consecutive days destroyed two buildings, but did not cause any injuries.

On Monday afternoon, Corinth-Shiloh, Friendship and Seneca fire departments responded to a fire on Carradine Road near Wilbanks Road, within a mile of the shores of Lake Hartwell. The fire was contained to a smaller outbuilding adjacent to a home there. No one was injured, but the fire’s cause is still under investigation. READ MORE
